| My interest in the metaphysical studies has been
life-long. However, I have had some great experiences to launch me into that world with
full force. In 1985 I had a near death experience. I had been in a situation that I found
so impossible that I wanted to be done with life. I used to read the obituaries and
actually feel some envy for those people who got to get a rest from this place. So, the
Universe knew I wanted an option to get out. I had that opportunity given me with the
crisis in ’85. I met my grandfather at the threshold of the light and we discussed
whether leaving now was the best way to do this or not. I decided that I’d come back
and finish my mommy business. Then we agreed that I’d go to work for them, bringing
the various worlds and dimensions together through these connections. In 1995 I began automatic writing to my grandfather. By then, he had been dead for 41 years. He practiced with me and told me about his life as a greeter. He is among the first to greet the souls who return from the human side. We used the pen first and found it to be slow. So we used a typewriter but found we are both atrocious typists. Since he was moving my hands and fingers in the writing, I asked if he could help me play the violin too. He is still a musician over there. He said he’d try it some day, but we haven’t had the chance to experiment with that yet. Also, the work of James Von Praagh is great for describing connections with those who have died. |
| I do not read minds. Once that is clear people are less afraid of me. My claims and stories are so unbelievable that I cannot expect my new friends to accept the whole thing at once. However, my close circle of people often help me to learn as I go. They have helped in practice sessions by asking bizarre questions. The responsibility is on the shoulders of the spirits to prove that they can do what they say they can. We like the sessions where wild questions have lead to great discussions about our world and theirs. Also we like the anticipation of it. It’s fun to see who shows up to talk about the subject at hand. So, after getting used to my stories and seeing it is not a scary thing, my friends are supportive. |

| Yes. I was able to connect an archeologist with his guides who told him where to dig and what to look for. He was thrilled to see that the site had much more to offer. I have had only a few cases where folks asked for help in finding things, so I had no track record on it. The spirits say I have not tapped into my potential at all compared to what I can do. So, I am willing to try projects and see how they turn out (See "Future Projects.") Also I have done well over 150 sessions for people for trade or for donations. However, I have had to set some controls on my time, so rates have been established. (See "Rates and Availability.") |

| The spirits claim that I can contact anyone. That did not
seem to compute with me, so they like to bring me surprises to demonstrate their point. We
had a string of celebrity visitors during the fall of 1997 that I never would have thought
to ask for. These visitors brought words of encouragement and some good stories about the
themes of their public lives. Churchill talked about the power of a leading and calming
voice in the midst of unnerving and unmanageable fear and war conditions. Marilyn Monroe
talked about publicity over a fictitious persona instead of being the real you. John
Lennon talked about love songs having a lasting effect of people to remind them to involve
their hearts in their lives. Advisors come from across the cosmos with names we can hardly
pronounce. Whoever the visitor is, their messages tend to be very gently given and they
contain enough new information to be both understandable and useful. I asked how they can be available and be incarnated at the same time. I got a friendly explanation about how there is no such thing as time. Time is a construct for third dimension experiences, but spirits are not confined that way. One explanation that worked well for me was that in spirit form we are a collective of all of our selves. So, like a multiple personality, we can access different aspects of ourselves that might seem quite distinct from each other. Some aspect of ourselves might be over here experiencing yet another set of circumstances and playing yet another role of love incarnate, while the rest of the collective spirit is in the world of light and available to us for sessions. |
| Yes. (See Rates and Availability.") Rates in the business vary from $75 to $1,000 per session. Channeling and spirit contact is a scarce skill. Attaching a monetary value to it is without reason, so other criteria is used. In the past, I have accepted lunch and minerals and a night in the guest room as compensation for my sessions. Since I want to be free to take on projects that can expand the work, I will have to limit the number of sessions I will perform for now. (See "Future Projects.") Also, I have material to write several books so I want to have time to invest in those. |

| Spirits are incredibly anxious to contact their loved ones over here. There would have to be special circumstances for anyone to be unavailable. Once a brother of a woman I knew was not able to come to our session because they said he was in a "light bath." He died of cancer and often persons who suffer greatly in leaving this life, such as cancer patients, may need extra healing and care back "home." In doing nearly 200 sessions I have only had sitters feel unsatisfied about 3 times. It is rare. When there is uncertainty about the identity, it is probably more related to problems with the person on this side and not the spirit person. One time a man said he dreamed about his grandpa Charlie’s farm, so he requested a session. Instead of grandfather Charlie coming, the one who came was the father of Charlie, also named Charles. This spirit was the one who actually farmed the land and was the one who wanted to talk to his great grandson. Once a daughter wanted to talk to her deceased mother about a health problem. The Mother came but deferred to another spirit visitor who was better at health advice. So there are surprises at times, but almost never disappointments. |
Do you have to have certain conditions to channel? What does it feel like? |
| No conditions are required. I am a conscious channel,
which means I am not in trance or absent in any way during the discussion. So I do not
have to lay down. I have channeled in a car, on a plane, on the phone, everywhere. I am
unique in the way I allow other entities to use my parts. However, part of my comfort with
sharing me is the fact that I do not leave the scene. (Although I may do astral travel at
times, I do not leave my body when I have "company.") Once inside then, they
have to put up with my mental chatter. My eyes hurt from the lights sometimes, so I may
use sunglasses indoors. The visiting spirit and I literally share the same body. Like
getting into a straight jacket, they enter and sit with me through the middle of my back.
They always laugh about how odd it feels for them. Some visitors feel big to me and others
feel very tiny. Some sit up straight and others slouch. You might recall the movie, "All of Me," with Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin. Their characters argued about the use of the body they shared. At times, the spirits and I do that in my head too, but it’s only teasing. Also, like Whoopi Goldberg’s character in Ghost, I can have them sit with me and see, touch and talk to their loved ones over here. However, I can kick them out if I want. One time, a spirit visitor wanted to "see" his daughter. When I opened my eyes for him to view the woman I was with, he was so excited he got knocked out the back of me, right on his butt. Our human sensations are overwhelming for their physical constitutions at times. Physically, they are of a higher vibration, so they operate differently than we do. |
