Our small resort is located on Huron Bay in Skanee, Michigan. We feel we are in the middle of God's country with immediate  access to Lake Superior and in close proximity to small inland lakes, lovely rivers and beautiful streams. You can explore by car or walk forever and not begin to see it all.

The cabins are furnished with linen, dishes and amenities which we hope will help to make your stay memorable and prove the stimulus for a return to our part of the world.

All of the seasons have their special beauty. Summer is classically the time to fish, swim, bicycle and relax. Autumn is associated with spectacular colors, long walks, fishing and relaxing. Winter provides the opportunity for cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling and relaxing by a wood burning fire.

Spring is a promise of what is to come and will be the one time of the year when we will be relaxing. Depending on demand and weather conditions we will probably close sometime in January and remain so until early April.

Aurora Borealis Resort is kid friendly!

We have four cabins. Each unique in its own way. Three are handicapped accessible with queen size beds and the third also has twin beds. The fourth cabin has two bedrooms with additional sleeping space for two more. All have wood burning stoves and complete kitchens. Linen and dishes are provided.

Rates range from $65.00 to $85.00 a night, plus tax. Call or e-mail  for further information.
